Hi! I’m Tamanna Kochar, your Registered Homoeopath

I began my journey as a practicing Homoeopath in 2017. With over seven years of dedicated experience and more than 10,000 successfully treated cases in India, I am excited to continue my passion for healing by founding Tamanna’s Homoeopathic Inc. in Abbotsford, BC.

Inspired by Tradition, Driven by Passion

From a young age, Homoeopathy was woven into the fabric of my life, thanks to my father’s steadfast belief in its healing power. His own recovery from severe health conditions through Homoeopathic treatments led him to choose this path for my upbringing, instilling in me a profound appreciation for this science. After completing my secondary education, my father encouraged me to explore Homoeopathy as a career and introduced me to Dr. Ravinder Kochar, a distinguished Homoeopath from Ludhiana, Punjab. This meeting solidified my calling, and I soon secured a top rank in the Punjab PAET 2012 entrance exam, confirming my commitment to this field.

My academic journey began at Lord Mahavira Homoeopathic Medical College, Ludhiana, where my dedication led me to graduate with the highest marks in Punjab. I was honored with accolades such as the Malati Allen Noble Award, presented by Pranab Mukherjee, the 13th President of India, and the Dr. Tarun Chaudhary Memorial Best Student Award. I pursued my postgraduate studies under the guidance of Dr. Jawahar Shah at Hahnemann College of Homoeopathy in London, UK. Subsequently, I earned my Doctorate in Homoeopathic Materia Medica from Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homoeopathic Medical College, Ludhiana, India.

Homoeopathy remains central to my life, especially after joining a family with an equally rich history in the field. My in-laws, both respected Homoeopaths, established Mroke Homoeopathic Clinic in Punjab over 35 years ago, a legacy that my sister-in-law continues here in Canada. Surrounded by this deep-rooted commitment to Homoeopathy, I am continually inspired to advance my knowledge and make a meaningful difference through this practice.

Internship to Independent Practice

My journey as a Homoeopath began in 2017 during my internship under the mentorship of Dr. Ravinder Kochar, M.D. (Hom.), Director of Lord Mahavira Homoeopathic Medical College, Ludhiana. This invaluable experience laid a strong foundation in clinical practice and patient care.

After earning my Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.), I joined Lion’s Club Hospital in Jaitu, Punjab, where I led the Homoeopathic Department for four years. This role honed my skills in managing a full-scale department and treating a diverse range of cases.

Building on this experience, I went on to establish and manage Kochar Homoeopathic Clinic for two years, deepening my expertise and commitment to patient-centered care. With over seven years in the field and more than 10,000 successfully treated cases, I am thrilled to bring this dedication and experience to Abbotsford, BC, with the founding of Tamanna’s Homoeopathy Inc., where I continue to serve and support the community’s health with trusted Homoeopathic care.
